Our make-up and hair courses were designed to maximize your creativity and reinforce the skills that are demanded of today’s make-up artists.

At Make-up Designory, our classroom is your make-up room. Short lectures and a hands-on approach ensure that you will get to work on your first day of class. Before you can apply make-up or style hair, you must first master the individual elements of an application.

At Make-up Designory, our classes begin with a focus on fundamental skills. As you master the skills, you will incorporate them in increasingly more complex applications. Your speed will improve and as you learn you will naturally become more confident in your ability. It is mastery of the individual elements that will bring success to the application. These elements will be reinforced from the beginning of your program to its completion.

The portfolio develpoment course evenly emphasizes the theory and the practical and is designed to build the foundation of the wardrobe stylist. Lectures that stress the importance of research and preparation are mixed in with lab work and assignments. This mix of lecture and fieldwork moves you from research to casting to a professional photo shoot. You will learn by doing.
